NewOil™ is a pure oil drilling fluid offering operators a cost effective alternative to an invert emulsion system. This system can be employed with a range of fluid choices providing alternatives for specific operational and drilling requirements. NewOil™ system flexibility extends to drilling (directional and horizontal), drill-in, coring, work-over and completion fluids.
Eliminating the need for an internal phase greatly reduces product consumption providing maximum overall cost benefit. Fluid properties are controlled with a selection of high quality and proprietary product additives ensuring maximum valve and system performance.
NewOil™ also provides operators with more latitude when dealing with drilling waste. Similar to Newpark's NewPhase™ system, NewOil™ has no internal salt phase, thus disposal options such as bio-remediation of the solid waste offers operators an alternative to disposal at a landfill.
