Newpark Drilling Fluids Opens New World Headquarters and State-of-the-art Laboratory Facility
Excalibar Minerals LLC was a major sponsor for the Industrial Minerals Roundtable: Oilfield Minerals Outlook held June 20 – 21st, 2012 at the Post Oak Hilton in Houston, TX. The event brought together leading suppliers, logistics providers, processors and end users of minerals used in the oilfield to discuss the importance of consistent, high quality sourcing and distribution of drilling minerals – vital to successful oilfield exploration.
Excalibar hosted the welcome reception to start the event on June 20th, with over 200 delegates in attendance. To close the event, Excalibar hosted a tour of its Houston grinding facility for barytes and calcium carbonate. The available slots to attend this outing filled to capacity in record time, including numerous hopeful delegates on the waiting list. Attendees were treated to an informative tour of the plant’s operations and the response was extremely positive, helping to make the entire event a tremendous success.
